Costa Rica was wonderful, albeit wet. The sights were spectacular, especially the vews from the canopy tour. The people there were so pleasant and helpful, especially at the hotels and the buses (three cheers for Alex!). It was definitely a change of pace from American life, which is the kind of experience that I wanted from the start. So great culture, people and landscape, definitely one of the most spectacular experiences of my life.

Costa Rica was absolutely fantastic. Rain put a damper on very few events, despite its longevity. The activities were all enjoyable, the people all very kind (most especially Alex). The experience was one of a kind; the scenery, the food and the culture all unique. The best vacation of my life.

Having a nice strong, great tasting cup of Costa Rican grown coffee each morning allowed us to have the energy to power through hike after hike. And of course, being on the beach, relaxing in the sun, and having to chase monkeys who stole my sister's bag made the entire trip. Overall, Costa Rica was a learning experience. I learned so much about a different culture and a small section of the world. I would encourage anyone who hasn't traveled without their family to do so. Not only do you learn about yourself as a person, but you have an opportunity to grow. See the world, experience new cultures, and change your outlook on life.

Although there were some ups and downs with the weather, I had so much fun. This was my first time out of the country without parents which was scary at first but became exciting. In Costa Rica I saw so many beautiful and different things and so I was able to appreciate the world so much more. Between all the things we saw and the experiences we shared, I will never forget this trip.

Costa Rica was my first trip out of the country. I had neither high nor low expectations so I found myself able to be content with whatever it was I had to face, be it rainy... really rainy weather or unruly twelve year olds. Costa Rica is so unbelievably stunning that it all evened out. I hope to come back. It's an unforgettable experience... an inescapable love and appreciation for the culture. Pura vida!

The rain was a bummer in the beginning, but we made our own fun. I really liked the people we were with... but maybe no middle schoolers next time. Overall Costa Rica was gorgeous and the cool activities were swell. Good times, good times.
