So there's this group of people who claim to be related to me. They say the proof is in the pudding, but no one's told me where they keep it.

"Who's that devilishly handsome fellow?" you're surely asking. Well, that's me, silly, with my beautiful bride Eileen Patricia Keating Fenster. I know what I was thinking marrying her, but I have no clue what I was thinking of with the glasses. Channelling Costello?

My Other Children

Yes, I'm one of those losers who thinks of his pets as children. Really slow-witted, hairy children. I'm also one of those losers with FOUR cats. From the top, there are the brothers Dante and Randal (named for the main characters from Kevin Smith's movie Clerks), Lloyd (named after British singer-songwriter Lloyd Cole), and Begbie (named for the character in Trainspotting). Begbie is pretending not to be a psychotic weasel here, but we know better. Finally, there's the newest member of the family, Phoenix, a pointer-labrador retriever mix.

Lily Agnes Fenster

The light of my life, little Lily. Born January 7, 2003 she's carried the weight of a thousand earths into our little universe. We all think it's grand.

My Parents

These are my parents, Egbert and Elzbieta. Blame them! But seriously, what can I say about my parents other than that they've always supported me in my endeavors and been there when I needed them. My father may be the smartest person I've ever known, and my mother the most giving (but don't underestimate her intellect either, bud). A little less harping about the B's on my report card would have been nice, though...

Father-In-Law

This is Tim Keating, who unfortunately passed away in 2003. The cliched horror stories of horrible in-laws in no way applies to me. Here was one of the most intelligent, well-read, engaging people I had the pleasure to know. There's never enough time. He did live to spend some quality time with his only grandchild (so far) and although she won't remember him, Lily will hear all about how much her granddaddy loved her.

My Mother-In-Law

Jean Keating is one of the warmest, most upbeat people I know. She's always praising someone or something -- maybe in due time I can learn something from her positive nature. And no one can make Lily laugh more than Grandmaw Keating!

My Brothers-In-Law

Ladies, they may have girlfriends, but they's still single! That's Mike and Andy Keating. Mike is gregarious and voracious for knowledge; Andy is an amazing guitar player with a quiet, sardonic wit. Quite a family, this Clan of Keatings.
