These 21 students traveled with Mr. and Ms. Puma and me to Ireland in June/July 2006.

This trip was awesome. We were really able to experience the Irish culture and we saw a lot of the country. I really enjoyed all the places we saw. Each new place we traveled to got more and more beautiful. I loved this trip and would do it again. – Sarah Miller

I don’t think that any paragraph I write could even begin to do justice to the amazing experience the past 10 days has been! The sights were breathtaking, the people were wonderful, and the experience all together was one that I will never forget. To encounter the Irish culture in such a personal way was an opportunity I’m glad I didn’t let pass me by. Excellent trip! – Lauren Patten

No matter how much you read or think you know about the world, nothing, absolutely nothing can match actually leaving the comforts of the U.S. and seeing just how much the rest of the world has to offer. Ireland is an absolutely stunning country and I wouldn’t trade the opportunity I had to see, hear and learn about her and her people for any sum of money. Travel. Travel every chance you’re given to do so, because that chance may never resurface. – Anastasia Kinigopoulo

Traveling to Europe is gaining a new perspective on the world. As it was my first time across the Atlantic. I was excited and nervous… I had a brilliant time, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Ireland is gorgeous, and visiting the North was such a unique opportunity. The people made the country even more fun. Future trips to Europe will never hold the same special place this one does. – Richie Venezia

This trip was an absolutely amazing experience! I felt like we got to see so much of Ireland an experience the different lifestyle. I also loved getting to know an awesome group of people and I’m not ready to leave. I wasn’t sure whether or not to come on this trip, and deciding to come was one of the best decisions ever! – Meghan Morley

The trip was absolutely amazing and I did not want to leave the country. The bonding experience was the most unexpected and made the trip perfect. I would not want to be on a bus with any other group of kids. If I could do this trip again I would only change the length of time to make it much longer. – Megan Davin

Ireland was the perfect ending to my high school years. And the experience was only enhanced by the amazing friends I made along the way. My favorite memories are enjoying the scenery and Frisbee on the beach. – Emily Winchatz

What a great trip. I was a little nervous going on this trip but it turned out to be a good decision. From the coasts to castles, from the shops to restaurants, everything was above expectations. I’m happy I got to meet all these people, especially the seniors who I wouldn’t have had any connection to without. Everyone keep in touch. – Joe Adelmann

I must say there was some apprehension at the start of this trip, considering I knew only Joe and I think I talked to Mark a few times. But with the changing rooms, the long enough bus rides, and good leisure time, there was plenty of time to make friendships I hope will last. Also, the consistent stops from the bus rides made the driving way more enjoyable. Plus, all the places we stopped were grand. Traveling the entire country (and I guess another country up north) really made the lifestyles and Irish culture stand out. I appreciate the opportunity! – Eddie Marks

I walked into this trip expecting to only know 2 to 3 people, and in the end I got really close with the majority of everyone who accompanied me. I’ll never forget sitting on the rocks at night on the beaches of Ballybunion, nor will I forget the hours of starting at the beautiful Irish countryside (and sheep!). So thank you for everything. – Kelli Beard
